During hours of operation our dealing desk will be available to place over the phone trades. In order for our dealing desk to execute a trade via telephone you must have the following information available:

Account number,
Username,
Currency pair,
Phone password, (Created when the account is opened.
And decide if trade(s) will be long or short.

UGM provides our clients with a trading platform that is used to execute long (buy) and short (sell) positions. Traders execute a trade by selecting a long or short position of a currency pair and typing the lot size amount required to place a trade. The dealing software automatically calculates the initial margin requirement based upon the notional amount of the deal, and if sufficient funds are available in your account, will accept the transaction. Deals are confirmed online, normally within one second, and the system instantaneously updates both your open position and calculates your current floating P&L.

United Global Markets, variable rates trade on dealing spreads as low as 1-2 pips on the most widely traded currency pairs. Because quotes are derived directly from bank prices, dealing spreads will fluctuate to reflect available Forex market liquidity. Please contact a representative to discuss the benefits of trading with variable rates.

UGM monitors the leverage of all accounts. UGM makes no guarantees clients will be contacted when accounts are near the minimum equity requirement for open positions. Clients are fully responsible for monitoring the activity in their accounts. In the event that an account exceeds its maximum allowable leverage, UGM retains the right to liquidate all or a portion of the open positions in the account.

UGM enables our clients to place various different order types. Traders can place the following types of entry orders: stops, limits, and market orders. (Please see our “Learn Forex” Learn Forex link on our website for further details * In normal markets any sell stops will be filled on a dealer's bid, and buy stops are filled on a dealer's offer. If the market "gaps" sharply up or down the stops will be filled at the best available price

Transactions or deals are sized in units of 10,000 of the base currency. Each deal size is numbered in terms of 'lots'. The maximum deal size available online is 50 million of the base currency. For example 5 lots are numbered as a transaction size of 50,000 units.

UGM clients have access to account statements and reports. Traders can run live reports to view their account balance and account history of open, closed, or pending order statuses on their account(s). Clients can run up to date live reports during normal trading hours.

Transaction Fee per round turn is $1.25 per 10,000 of the base currency charged upon entry of the position
